The Costa Blanca Rotary Fellowship was formed in 1986 to bring together past and present Rotarians, and members of other Rotary associated clubs with their partners. Members are mainly from the UK. Meetings take place in Moraira and are conducted in English. However, we have quite an International membership with Rotarians from other European countries and worldwide.
Why not come and join us. Meetings follow the Rotary format. We engage in fund raising, supporting both local and international causes, and welcome both resident, non-resident and visiting international members from other countries both in Europe and around the world.
We meet from early September to the end of May, but are closed during the summer months of June, July and August. The programme is varied and includes some off site visits and activities, such as a bodega visit, boat trip etc in addition to traditional events such as, a fund raising auction, Christmas party, and an end of season barbeque etc.
In typical Rotary tradition, the Fellowship generates a lot of humour and fun and cordially extends a warm welcome whether you are making an occasional visit or are here permanently living on the Costa Blanca. There are no membership fees!
We meet on Fridays at Restaurante Casa Lili, Moraira at 1.00pm for 1.30pm to enjoy a three course lunch with wine, listen to an interesting speaker and conduct any current business. If you would like to join us at one of our meetings, or would like more information, please use the form on our Contact page.
A new member can be introduced to the Fellowship by being brought as a guest by an existing member for a number of visits. Should that person be interested in joining the Fellowship then he / she can be proposed and seconded by two existing members. The proposal will then be put before the committee for approval. People who are already, or have been, members of Rotary or its associated clubs will, as previously, be welcome to join the Fellowship.
We look forward to welcoming you!
